ECOTRON Holds Final External Advisory Board Meeting

Last week, ECOTRON held its third and final External Advisory Board meeting, marking an important milestone for the project.

We would like to thank the board members Donald Lupo, Bernd Kopacek, Klas-Moritz Kossel, as well as special guests from OE-A – Advancing the Flexible and Printed Electronics Industry, Isabella Treser and Raswanth Sendhil Sasikala, for their valuable contributions, thoughtful questions, and insights.

The discussion highlighted the project’s strong technical progress and the advancements achieved in printed and flexible electronics. At the same time, an important message emerged: achieving real-world impact will depend not only on technological innovation, but also on affordability and active engagement with policy makers and market stakeholders.

This feedback provides a clear direction for the final phase of the project, reinforcing the need to bridge the gap between research outcomes and practical, scalable solutions.
