ECOTRON M6 GA meeting & LOPEC 2023

After six months of implementation, ECOTRON consortium came together to discuss the progress of the project and decide on the next steps.

The meeting took place adjacent to LOPEC – the leading conference and exhibition dedicated to printed electronics. LOPEC brings together leading players in the field of printed electronics. The platform offers companies across the entire sector support in every aspect of the industry, from research to application.

LOPEC served as a great starting point for discussions and provided inspiration for the possibilities that the new, greener technologies can grasp. There is a huge untapped potential and a need for more sustainable printed electronics which will foster economic growth but not at the cost of the environment.

Although still at the very beginning of implementation, ECOTRON partners generated substantial results and insights from the development of novel technologies and approaches for enabling circular, bio-based and compostable electronics.
